The thesis
APEX’s proprietary DegenerationX model produced exact historical bottom-recognition signals on the completed 2015, 2018, and 2022 bottom candles.
The current cycle is a frozen prospective test. Parameters, weights, offsets, formulas, source transformations, and validation logic are confidential and cannot change after the outcome.
Public validation standard
A qualifying signal must land on the independently observed completed bottom candle. An early, late, repeated, backdated, or still-open signal does not qualify. No backup variant can rescue a miss.
Completed-candle evidence only
Non-repainting and no backdating
Frozen before the live outcome
Public outputs with confidential implementation
Historical timing record
| Cycle | Proprietary signal date | Daily closing bottom | Error |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2014–15 | Jan. 14, 2015 | Jan. 14, 2015 | 0 days |
| 2018–19 | Dec. 15, 2018 | Dec. 15, 2018 | 0 days |
| 2022–23 | Nov. 9, 2022 | Nov. 9, 2022 | 0 days |
| 2026–27 | Pending | Not established | Live test |
The record exposes dates and outcomes for independent review without publishing the recipe that produced them.
APEX Intelligence challenger
APEX Intelligence remains independent from DegenerationX and tests temporal confirmation through a separately frozen proprietary process. Its public window outputs are evidence markers, not a probability that Bitcoin has definitively bottomed.
The active bottom window is September 28–October 7, 2026, extended through October 19. The primary signal window is October 23–November 5, with an extended signal date of December 14.
Live model contest
| Model | Role | Specification | Current state |
|---|---|---|---|
| DegenerationX | Primary bottom-recognition model | Frozen · proprietary | Confirmation pending |
| APEX Intelligence | Independent temporal challenger | Frozen · proprietary | Awaiting validation window |
What would falsify it?
- If the proprietary primary signal is absent from the qualifying bottom candle, the primary test fails.
- An invalidating sequence inside the frozen validation period fails the test.
- No alternate parameter set or backup variant can rescue a failed score.
- If the independently observed cycle bottom falls outside the frozen temporal window, APEX Intelligence fails.
- Parameters and validation rules cannot move after the outcome.
- Material data sensitivity must be reported rather than hidden.
Evidence boundary
The engine uses verified institutional research data and completed observations. Exact implementation details remain confidential intellectual property. The site publishes model status, signal markers, historical dates, test windows, and falsification outcomes.
The rules are frozen, but the result is not. Historical evidence supports continued testing—not proof of a universal law or a guaranteed market outcome.
If independent market-structure evidence and both frozen proprietary bottom models confirm inside the same regime, are these separate technical events—or coordinated evidence of a higher-degree transition?
